Naturals.png

The Naturals are a race untouched by the corruption of war. Wise, ancient, and deeply attuned to the cosmic forces, they have long existed on the fringes of Astralis, content to observe rather than interfere. Yet now, as the gods awaken, their knowledge and power may be the key to survival.

✧ History & Origins ✧

Unlike the Valkyries or Dreadknights, the Naturals are not bound by rigid codes of war. They exist outside the conflicts of Astralis, but their wisdom and abilities make them deeply entwined with its fate. Some will seek to guide those who wish to understand the coming changes. Others will seek to destroy those who threaten the natural balance.

Guardians of the Wild Fate, Keepers of the Forgotten Truth

Before the first blade was ever raised, before the Valkyries and Dreadknights made war upon the world, before Astralis knew battle… the Naturals watched. They did not build cities, nor did they forge kingdoms. They were not conquerors. They were not warriors. They were not gods.

They were the first children of the world, woven from the same fabric as the rivers and the stars, shaped by the pulse of existence itself. Where others sought dominion over Astralis, the Naturals sought only to understand it—to listen to its voice, to guard its hidden truths.

But balance was a fragile thing.

The Sundering of the First World

It is said that in the earliest days, before even the gods whispered their names, Astralis was a world of harmony, not order. The land pulsed with power—raw, untamed, infinite. The Naturals did not rule this world; they merely existed within it, bound to its rhythms.

Then came the Sundering—the moment the first war was waged, the first blood was spilled, the first ambition was born. The Naturals were not the cause of it, yet they bore witness to its horrors. Factions rose. The first empires crumbled. And the Naturals watched as the world became something lesser than it had been.

Some among them believed it was their duty to intervene, to mend the fractures in destiny before it was too late. Others believed that war was merely another cycle of existence, and that to resist change was to deny fate itself.

Thus, the Naturals divided.

Notable Naturals:

Naves Zoltek – A small mouse-like wizard, whose magic is both mischievous and immensely powerful. He is ancient, perhaps older than Astralis itself.

Zislavar Dende – A humanoid hawk warrior clad in battle armor, leading a sect of Naturals who believe that Astralis must be defended at all costs.
